Mongolian fluorspar for overseas buyers

Acid grade fluorspar powder and metallurgical lump, delivered from Mongolia to overseas ports with full origin documentation.

Sunfire Resources supplies 97% and 95% acid grade fluorspar powder and metallurgical grade lump from mines and flotation plants in Mongolia, consolidates it at Erenhot, the border crossing between Mongolia and China, and ships from the port of Tianjin, China, to overseas buyers. We handle origin, analysis, transit and export paperwork so your purchasing team receives one supplier, one contract and one certificate per lot.

Company profile

An origin-side supply partner, not a reseller of port stock.

Sunfire Resources is the fluorspar trading brand of Sunfire Global Co., Limited, a Hong Kong company. Our team has worked the Mongolia to China fluorspar corridor since 2024, with an operating base at Erenhot, the Chinese border city that is the only rail and road crossing for Mongolian mineral exports into China.

Most fluorspar offered to overseas buyers is bought from traders at Tianjin port or Erenhot in China, often blended from several sources and sold without a traceable origin. We work one step upstream. Our supply comes from named Mongolian mines with their own flotation plants, and every lot is sampled and analysed at Erenhot before it is released for export.

Contracts, invoicing and payment run through our Hong Kong entity in US dollars. Warehousing, transit customs and inland logistics inside China are run by our own operations team at Erenhot.

Product

Acid grade powder, 97% and 95% CaF₂, and metallurgical grade lump

Our main product is 97% acid grade flotation concentrate for hydrofluoric acid production. We concentrate on this grade because it is what HF plants buy without blending, and it makes up most of our volume. The specification below is its representative analysis; each shipment is sold against the certificate of analysis for that lot, on a dry basis. 95% acid grade powder and metallurgical lump are specified further down.

Form. Filter cake powder from froth flotation. Dried powder (moisture below 1%) is available on request for buyers who take delivery in 25 kg bags.

Packaging. 1,000 kg woven polypropylene jumbo bags with inner liner, 20 bags per 20-foot container. Bulk container loading is available on request.

Origin. Mined and beneficiated in Mongolia (Khentii and Dundgovi provinces). Mongolian certificate of origin is issued per shipment.

Pricing basis. USD per dry metric tonne, CaF₂ content 97% basis, with agreed scale for grade above or below the base. Weight is determined by draft survey or weighbridge at loading, with moisture deducted per the loading-port analysis.

Supply chain

Mine to port in four controlled steps.

Mongolia is landlocked, so its fluorspar reaches overseas ports overland through China: across the border at Erenhot, then by rail or truck to the port of Tianjin. We manage the whole corridor, including the bonded transit that keeps the cargo Mongolian origin while it crosses Chinese territory.

  1. 1 · Origin

    Mongolian mines and flotation plants

Named mines in Khentii and Dundgovi provinces. Concentrate is bagged at the plant and trucked 400 to 700 km to the Zamiin-Üüd border.

  2. 2 · Border

    Erenhot, China: consolidation

Lots cross the border at Zamiin-Üüd / Erenhot and are received in our bonded warehouse, sampled per 500 t, and analysed before release. Blending to specification is done here if the buyer requires.

  3. 3 · Transit

Rail or truck to Tianjin port, China

About 900 km across northern China under customs transit. Standard lead time from release at Erenhot to container stuffing at Tianjin is 7 to 10 days.

  4. 4 · Sea

    Tianjin, China to your port

Northeast Asian ports in 3 to 9 days, Southeast Asia and South Asia in 2 to 3 weeks. Weekly container sailings from Tianjin.

Trade terms

Contract structures built for a market without a published benchmark.

Fluorspar has no exchange price. We offer two ways to contract so that both sides can plan volume without betting the year on a single quote.

Spot and quarterly fixed price. Firm USD price per dry tonne for one to three months of agreed volume, Incoterms 2020 FOB Tianjin, China, or CIF buyer's port. Minimum order 500 t (one 25-container lot).

Annual volume with quarterly repricing. Agreed annual tonnage, price reset each quarter against a formula referencing published Chinese acid grade indices plus an agreed differential for origin and logistics. This mirrors how Mongolian producers already price into Chinese fluorochemical plants.
